Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American sportscaster. She is currently employed by ESPN as a news anchor for SportsCenter as well as occasionally hosting SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. The child of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. Since she was nine, Collins's ability to speak two languages has led to her obtaining a job in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. While on a trip with the family in Ohio, younger Collins was able to take a job with her older sister. Antonietta was a senior high school student however, she was very aware of her goals for the future. She visited Mount Union University to see if it was a good fit for her. As it turned out she was a fan of the university and they were offering the major she was looking for. She completed her schooling and was admitted to the university for a master's degree studying media and communication studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor and director of WRMU (91.1 FM) which was where she felt at home. Mark's passion for journalism and confidence in herself instilled confidence in her.
